Best Gluten Free Mug Cake

Remember Mug Cakes? They were all the rage back in 2020 when we were stuck indoors with full pantries & nowhere to go. I still whip up a gluten free mug cake every now & then when I'm craving something sweet, but don't have the energy to drive to the store. Try out this simple, sweet recipe for yourself:

Ingredients
1/3 cup blanched almond flour
1 tbsp arrowroot starch
1/4 tsp baking soda
2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
dash cinnamon
sprinkle sea salty
3 tbsp oat milk
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp sunflower oil
optional: top with whipped cream & sprinkles
The Process
stir up the dry ingredients in a mug
once the dry ingredients are fully mixed, stir your wet ingredients (oat milk, vanilla, oil) into the mug
once everything is well-mixed, microwave for 2-2.5 minutes
