Bee's Gluten Free Italian Beef Recipe

Another #Shred10* friendly recipe!!

Looking for a hearty meal to make for dinner one of these chilly winter nights? Well, I've got just the recipe for you - get your crockpot ready for Bee's Italian Beef!


  • 2.5 lb. rump roast

  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano

  • 3 bay leaves

  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder

  • 2 tablespoons sea salt

  • 1 tablespoon black pepper

  • 1 tablespoon dried basil leaves

  • 1 tablespoon dried rosemary

  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley

  • 1 teaspoon Jane's Krazy Mixed-Up Salt

  • 2 cups chopped red pepper

  • 6.75 fl. oz. (half container) Organic Imagine Savory Beef Gravy (pour half in crockpot, use other half w/ juices for gravy)

  • 1.25 cups water

The Process

  • slice rump roast into 4-5 big chunks

  • place rump roast in crockpot + add all seasonings

  • add Organic Imagine Savory Beef Gravy + water

  • cook on high for 4 hours

  • after 4 hours, take out beef & shred in a large bowl

  • add chopped red pepper

  • add salt to taste, if needed

  • once everything is combined + shredded, mix back into crockpot with juices

  • cook everything on low for an additional 3 hours

  • enjoy & serve straight from the crockpot!

To make gravy with the Italian Beef juices, cook in a saucepan on medium-low, add sorghum or cassava flour to thicken & create a roux. Prepare the gravy 5-10 minutes before serving dinner.
