Jalapeño Margarita Recipe
Licking the salt off the rim of my coin margarita while people-watching under the T/aco twinkle lights as the sun sets - a favorite summertime activity. Who else can't wait for patio-seating, people-watching, & Patrón? I'm already on it with my weekly balcony margaritas, mixing it up, & trying different recipes to share with YOU!
Add a little spice to your sweet summer marg with my latest jalapeno cilantro recipe!

Ingredients
1.5 fl. oz. of your favorite tequila!*
2 fl. oz. limeade**
jalapeño
cilantro
lime
ice
Topo Chico
pink Himalayan sea salt
The Process
grab your shaker (I use an old coffee mug with a tight lid & shake over the sink)
pour into your shaker: tequila, limeade, a crushed jalapeño slice & a few crushed cilantro leaves
before adding anything to your glass, coat the rim with lime & dip in salt (if desired)
once your rim is salted, pour the mixture in your shaker over ice
top with Topo Chico to add some fizz
squeeze & toss a lime wedge into your cocktail
garnish with a jalapeño slice on the rim & you're good to go!
I love new margarita recipes, so please share any you might have in the comments below!
Drink safely, my friends!
*I typically use silver Milagro or Altos
**I use Santa Cruz Organic Limeade
